So what else is new? http://news.cnet.com/8301-13506_3-5...or-second-year-in-a-row/?tag=TOCmoreStories.0

"For the second year in a row, AT&T was ranked last in Consumer Reports' annual customer satisfaction survey. The company was hit especially hard by complaints over poor voice service and phone-based customer care. Even worse for AT&T, the company's 2011 rating is slightly lower than last year's.
Consumer Reports' survey examines voice, data, and text-messaging service, as well as customer care. The specific ratings are available to subscribers.

....

However, AT&T continues to add new customers to its service, despite its apparent service problems. In the third quarter alone, AT&T added 2.1 million new subscribers bringing its total customer base to over 100 million."

100 million people continue to use the worst carrier??? We got rid of them years ago.....

Maybe it's me, but I think there are numerous Co's that are absolutely appalling to have to deal with..:(
AT&T is for sure one of them:mad:
In my business, I get to deal with various banks on a regular basis...most of them have shocking behavior patterns:(. BTW, did anyone see the last '60 minutes' show, wherein they interviewed a few people connected to the banking debacle and asked why no one in the banking industry or Wall St had been indicted...not a single person!! :eek:Very interesting program.

Switched to Verizon with the latest iteration of the iPhone and service in the NY metro area is far better -- used to drop every other call over 10 min with AT&T. Decision to switch was difficult though because my customer service experiences with AT&T had been excellent whereas my Verizon experiences before I switched to AT&T for the original iPhone, and with my land line and Internet had been horrific, moving into Kafka territory at times. With Verizon it seemed, the attitude when a customer calls was immediately adversarial. We'll see.

I left AT&T about 7 months ago. I'm in my car about 5 hours per day and was having 4 to 6 dropped calls per day. With Verizon I have maybe had 4 dropped calls in 7 months!

I had no issue with AT&T customer service --- just a really crappy product!!

Yep, exactly the same experience Chuck.

On the plus side Amir they got their rating moving, just unfortunately downwards :)
Amazing how they can take a poor service and make it even worse :)
Appreciate though this is not funny for existing customers.

Cheers
