Anyone with experience with Viola Labs Crescendo?

I was offered a trade of my Vinnie Rossi lio dht (+cash) for a crescendo. I haven't heard any viola and won't have a chance to but it's intriguing. Hard to find many impressions, has anyone heard one, or any viola preamp, and able to give some thoughts as to the sound?

While it cannot be compared with top-notch Viola Solo or Spirito, I believe that crescendo shall be worthwhile to give a try. From my experience, the sound of Viola equipment is still one of very best in the industry. You can easily find many info on their previous company, CELLO, which Paul (the main designer of Viola) & Mark Levinson used to run.
