I have only bought their CD reissues, the music is a bit more experimental jazz or jazz that is over looked. I've corresponded with the gentleman in charge of the reissues and he is passionate about what he does. Two of my favorites are the Bill Dixon and Julius Hemphill reissues, CD only though.

Hello HvBias,

I had not been to Jonathan's website in a while but notice he has a new reel to reel tape available. It features a fine musician (piano). I was absolutely not familiar with this gentleman. I went to Amazon to listen to some of the music he has recorded and WOW!

I intend to contact Jonathan to get more information but, I certainly may purchase this reel to reel tape just based on what I heard today. My most immediate concern is Mr. Jeremy Kahn is in a duo setting and i don't know how that will play out for me. I am at least a trio or quartet person. Thanks.

Jonathan has some great reissues coming out, some from Flying Dutchman, Joe Daley, Carter Bradford, etc (all on CD). He consistently puts out high quality reissues, from sound to album art reproduction.
