About 15 years ago, we were doing business with Zeiss and I had the great pleasure of touring their Oberkochen facility, including the fantastic museum they maintain there. 700 years of optics history encompassing everything from Ben Franklin's eyeglasses to a plethora of historic cameras to the largest concave mirror ever fabricated. Amazing stuff!

Great link! All three make excellent lenses. I took a Zeiss 10 - 100mm all over the world with my Aaton 16/Super16mm when I was starting out -- indestructable, worked very well even all the way open at T2. Just shot with some new Cooke primes which are some of the best out there.

Jon Fauer wrote the original Arri SRI/SRII 16mm books which were references, then moved on to their 35mm cameras.
