Everyone can probably pinpoint a few albums that played a huge part in their future appreciation of music.
Here are mine:
Dave Brubeck: Time Out - This was my Dad's fave album and he played it constantly. It is the album that made me appreciate music and got me to explore everything else.
Pink Floyd: Meddle - Never in my entire life had I heard a song (Echoes) that seemed to go on forever and ever. I have been a progressive rock fan ever since.
Marvin Gaye: What's Going On - This album was so far ahead of it time in terms of the message it sent and the honesty it portrayed that to this day I still get goosebumps with every play.
What are your choices?
