we watched both episodes last night (just under 3 hours) and in deed there is nothing held back and truly salacious. How Charlie is still 6 feet above ground defies all odds as he was the. king of druggies. Some scenes and so many narratives were simply shocking. The women, drugs and alcohol and the money spent was beyond ......I forgot about his relationship with Heidi Fleiss. Some good commentary by Sean Penn who, himself was no angel back in the days. Of interest was that Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez declined to participate in any interviews for this short docuseries but his older brother did. Some shocking interviews with booth his wives and to see the number of times he was in rehab only to once again fall off the ladder. It took him so many tragedies to finally find the end of the tunnel which with a diagnosis of HIV positive seemed to bring him redemption in his life and a somewhat decent relationship with his kids who he was never a part of their lives while growing up. His true love (2nd wife) Denise Richards claims she still loves him and his 3rd wife Brooke Mueller was a bigger drug addict than him also still has a caring relationship with him as it was Charlie who kept her alive and cared for their 2 sons while she was using or in rehab. In fact Denise Richards even cared for his 2 sons for a short time. He and Denise have 2 daughters and there is now a vey special bond between he and her now which was touching.

The book is coming out out and the revelations about him seeking male sexual relationships was admitted to by Charlie.

Parts were simply tough to watch and how he is still alive defies all odds. Interviews with Jon Cryer and Chuck Lorre were also revelational while on the set. Charlie has faced his demons in this tell all and he hits nothing back. His brain still function but the sole interview by him which tells the story shows who he is now

Probably still can't get too close to him or you'd get a contact high. Did they have to decontaminate (or exorcise) the rehabs?
I remember reading from one of his paid consorts in the past that he clipped and unclipped his teeth in and out because he only has a few jaw pegs.

he reminds me a bit like Ozzie when he talks. His brain is clearly fried but he seems to have reconciled his life and is baring it all. Of interest was the spark that seemed to ignite his addiction was his friendship with Nicholas Cage who was into the real serious $hit whereas Charlie up to then was merely a user. Cage opened the door to the serious stuff and the other methods of use. It was chilling when he described his mindset the first time he smoked cocaine

Inspite of it all the network and network execs all knew what he was doing but the show was earning almost $200M per year and they turned a blind. eye along with giving him the biggest contract at the time in TV history where he was receiving $2M per 1/2 hour episode

Believe you meant 2M per show. He was definitely at the top of the pyramid in terms of $ for a series based show.
