Got an AC/DC show on Saturday with Axl Rose jumping in as lead singer. Then Mahler 2 with Daniel Harding and LSO at the Barbican on Sunday. Heavy Metal weekend.

Wow. Make sure you have ear protection for the AC/DC show.

Not sure if they are louder than Mahler :D

I have watched them twice before though (Though Brian Johnson had lost his vocals when I last saw him in 2010 or so) . I like their style of playing as if they are mocking rock, and their songs are pretty sing along so fun live. Nothing like joining in on Thunderstruck.

I yearn for the day when we can hum along at a classical concert. The big benefit of a good sound system to an actual concert is you can hum along and dance to classical, and air conduct

They sure are on a constant level. When it comes to hearing damage, it's not just about the SPL, but the length of exposure. No laughing matter.

Axl is well past resurrection , the last I heard him . So don't be pinning your hopes too high . Mahler be more exciting for sure ... Have a good un !
