I like Cooper and Gaga but yes I agree, especially with this being his directorial debut

I often wonder why there are so many movie remakes as well. Likely I'll see this one as my wife is a big Lady Gaga fan.

Have to admit I dismissed her at first but now acknowledge she is quite talented.

Bradley Cooper has been on a hot streak as well.

Now, regarding Barbra Streisand (the first remake of this movie), I was never a fan mostly because women I dated as a young man "coerced" me into going to so many of her movies. Right or wrong, I always considered her movies chick flicks.
