Ok, I have to say thanks Charlie and CLEM, for your guidance in solving my '99 problems'
I have managed to confirm that the motor is indeed functional, however, I have had no luck finding the locations on my capstan control board that correspond with Q1, or D2, etc..
as my board isn't labelled and I cannot find those reference points in the manual.
Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong section?
I am known around these parts more for determination, than success when it comes to repairing non-mechanical items.... These circuit boards, etc, are a new realm for me.
I do feel I'm 'starting' to get the hang of it, but a lot of it is still 'Greek' to me.
Any help, as always, greatly appreciated!
