New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

I still believe the Bucks will have an early exit and TBH their demise might come at the hands of the very good Pacers in the first round

I am also staying with the Knicks over the Sixers in the first round

I just found this with the ESPN reporters making their predictions

FWIW 11-0 Nuggs over Lakers

I know the Lakers are facing an early exit but this bit of news today gave me some hope for things to come . Only downside that bothers me is whether that means once again D'Angelo Russell becomes expendable. I hope not

Here's another reason why I think Pacers will prevail in Round 1

Report: Bucks prepping for Giannis Antetokounmpo to miss start of first-round series
Milwaukee's star has been out of the lineup since April 10 and is recovering from a left calf injury suffered late in the season.

Wow did I ever talk early about the Heat and the loss of Butler tonight would get them ousted. Well at the end of the third the Heat are cleaning the floor with the Bulls without Butler
Score Heat 82-60

The Heat seems to thrive in situations like this

@jadis if Heat prevails as it looks as if they will I sure hope the Celtics are rested and ready because a Heat Celtics series always proves to be one of the best. Two evenly matched teams. The league is just too good now to discount any team and we all said there will be upsets. Plus we know how a Heat Celtics series has gone in the past

Celtics have earned home court advantage and this could be a deciding factor in this series

The Heat have done it again

Final 112-91 without Butler

Hear understood this game was sudden death and did they ever beat up on the Bulls

I said I think Bucks will lose to Pacers and although I can’t say I feel the same about Heat over Miami but we all know how that has gone in the past. Even if Heat loses they will tire the Celtics and that could be a factor in the next round.

The game is far from over but at half time and without Zion but with the crowd into it the Pels are showing their finesse and lead 54-45

I think the first half has surprised all of the pundits. If Pels lock up the 8 spot my two Cinderella teams in the WC will be facing off in the first round. That will be a very good series. If Zion is back anything is possible BUT….. one more half to play The game is far from over

New Orleans continues to lead by 9 at end of 3rd but Kings have shown some life yet still trail

Here's an interesting stat that was just announced....The Pels are 5-0 against the Kings this year during the season and now lead by 13 over the Kings

New Orlleans are feeling it as Ingram is all over the court with his A game and this kid Alvarado is knocking down 3's from everywhere

Pels looking to grab the 8 spot as they lead by 20 with 6:37 left

Well Steve, my feeling is about how the Celtics play with added weapons in Unicorn and Holiday. And they would have learned from losing 4 home games last year. Nobody is easy, Philly with Embiid is also a force. So they should play any team up front and not be scared of whoever they meet. Another chance for Boston to beat Riley, in my view.

I hope Zion comes back.

Short of GSW getting killed by the Kings, I think this play in round has been absolutely exciting. I really thought without Zion, the Pels had no chance against the Kings but was I wrong. Every Pelican was into this game and had strong fan support. Kings make a brief run in the fine 2 minutes to close within 9 but the Pels again rally and the Kings run out of clock

Final Pels 105-98

Pels are 6-0 against the Kings this year and tonight they did it without Zion. I hope he is back as well as the OKC-NOP matchup gives me pause as to who will come out victorious. I would be surprised if it doesn't go 7 games . I believe either team can win this series

We aren't hearing much about the Clippers as thety have such a good team on paper but this news today might affect the Clippers

Kawhi Leonard (right knee inflammation) questionable for Game 1 vs. Mavs

Kawhi Leonard had yet to do on-court work as of Thursday, leaving his status for the Clippers' playoff opener in doubt.

a real chippy game going in Cleveland as both teams have an apparent dislike of one another as there have been many technical fouls . The crowd is into it and both teams are pounding one another

Cleveland leads 51-39 with 2:00 left in the half.

97-83 final as Cavs take game 1 in a very chippy game where it seemed players were going out of their way to push other players as well as hard intentional fouls which the refs spotted each time. Many T's during the game

Donovan Mitchell seem to clearly be the team leader but these 2 teams clearly don't like one another

Phoenix-Wolves just started and with Wolves have home court advantage I look to the Wolves to advance. Booker has to get hot and stay hot as to my eyes it is he and not KD or Beal that carries the team and is the team leader

Wolves dominate the Suns in the first half and are beating them at both ends of the court as well as the fast break. Suns just can't come close to the intensity of the Wolves who I feel will be in the final four in WC

At the half in spite of Durant with 18 , Wolves lead 61-51

120-95 Final where Wolves were in control the entire game. Wolves IMO have steadily improved over the past 3 years and so far I see the Wolves as the only real opponent who can give the Nuggets a run for their attempt at a 2nd title.

Wolves are a big, tough banging team, almost like the Knicks who are now playing the Sixers which should also be a tough physical game

Wolves have not emerged from the first round since 2004. To my eyes I feel they will be in the final 4 in the WC
