    Wilson Alexia 1, DAW or Yvette

    Great combination. My system is an Esoteric K-01xd -> Luxman CL1000 preamp -> ARC 250SE -> Wilson DAW. The speakers are highly resolving and the bass is powerful.

    Bad Esoteric K-01XD player replaced by Esoteric and Overture AV (Delaware)

    Esoteric became aware of the problem as I was in contact with Overture AV in Wilmington, DE. I did not have to jump through any "hoops" - the response from both manufacturer and retailer was rapid, positive, and outstanding. Any delay was related to Covid-related damage to distribution channels...

    Esoteric K-01XD versus K1X?

    I will let you know what happened, although it may be that no one is interested, because the issue is too "esoteric." . Esoteric audio (Japan) is a great company - I bought a K-01XD, but it was from a build run in which the players would not load any SACDs that had a multichannel play layer...

    K01 XD

    I have a Cybershaft UPOCXO-20A Master Clock and it made an incredible improvement to the sound compared with much more expensive Esoteric Clock. The fellow in Japan who makes these clocks used to be employed by the same company.

    Esoteric K-01XD versus K1X?

    Folks- From what I can tell, that have both have the same internal hardware and software, but the K1X offers thicker walls and offers the option of adding an external power supply (for $$$$). Are there other differences? I have the K-01XD and could upgrade to the K1X for not much more money...
