Wow, I didn't realize that there were any other Budgie fans here:eek:

You say you have a '72 reissue, how do you know that ( that it is a re-issue)? I have what i believe is an original UK pressing, along with all of their other work on UK pressings. Do you also own this one:

BTW, Burke Shelley escaped a serious health issue last year and is now recovering, which has led to the group having to delay their touring schedule. I just LOVE the group and have since the 70's..:D

I'm still looking for the 1st and Never Turn Your Back On A Friend on vinyl. I've been listening to them since about 72. You can look up what you have over at discogs. Sorry to hear that about Burke. Not really a fan anymore after Bourge left (Impeckable), bought I believe the next two albums, but just wasn't the same for me without Tony.

Wasatch, thanks for reminding me of Discogs:). It's a very good source of info. I didn't realize that the 1st album and Squawk had been re-issued:eek:. I'm lucky to have picked up my original copies in the UK in the early 70's.
Kind of agree with you, when Bourge left, things went downhill a little afterwards. He was one hell of a player...any idea what happened to him?

Bob, members may post about any music media they played. Please note we have a separate section for videos.

Went back to the beginning. Not quite as over-produced as 21, and very enjoyable. Still not in the league of the Royal Albert Hall Blu-ray though.

There is a K2 version of this and then an UltraHD version of this which...even on my laptop...just is ridiculously interesting to hear!!!!! have you heard either?
