I will be one that is interested in a potential DC cable upgrade for the Extreme router/DCD. I am currently using a Sablon DC cable to power my home router (Ubiquiti) from a Plixir LPS.
Are you considering circulating a demo cable for the Extreme router/DCD?

Yes they’re shielded and use Oyaide plugs. Not especially stiff.
