Lampizator announcement: launch of our all new TOTL HORIZON DAC

When I put a deposit down to buy a Porsche, they give me an estimated time it will be finished. It never has been accurate. Sometimes it‘s early most of the time it’s late. I don’t get to communicate directly with Ferry Porsche or his family. It’s an e-mail or phone call from my salesman which is about is accurate as my weatherman.

We are lucky that we can communicate with the principals of Lampizator directly. If you need info send an e-mail to Fred. He has responded to all my emails within 24 hours.

Keep in mind, even with a place in line, Lukasz and Fred have issues they can’t control like supply chain delays and a war right next door…just saying
 
Al, aren’t you a contractor? Do customers hand you $50k all the time and not want something in return? Ever hear of a performance clause in industry? It’s all about accountability and professional behavior.

Honest communication is better than misdirection. No communication let’s the mind run wild.

My customers have the same expectations that I do.
some contracts do have such clauses , but this is far from what's being asked here . lets get back on topic and less school yard talk .
 
Hey all. Don't want to detract from the real subject of this thread, the amazing Horizon DAC but I just want to state for the record that I'm happy to reply to any PMs, emails or calls about my customer's statuses.

I also want to point out that we do NOT take $50k and disappear under any circumstances. We take less than 10% deposits to secure a position in what will be a limited production run of the Horizon DAC (only 400 will be built).

Everyone on my continent may feel free to hit me up to keep that mind from running too wild. ;);)
I have to say Fred is one of the most responsive dealers I have ever had the pleasure dealing with.

You’re lucky. I have only dreamt of putting down a deposit on a Porsche. The only one I have is made by Matchbox.
 
I have to say Fred is one of the most responsive dealers I have ever had the pleasure dealing with.
I will add as well that Rob at LampiNA has always been incredibly responsive, seemingly at any hour of the day or evening, answering any type of question whether it be about the queue or otherwise. I feel incredibly fortunate to be an owner of one of their products.
 
I don't mean to gild the lily, but I get a prompt response from Lukasz and i am not a customer, I seem to recall that a Horizon is being cranked out every two business days. For a small company that makes an entire line of products that's mot bad. I remember the good old days when it took so log fill an order you wondered if they were still in business. Sometimes they were not.

Its been a great day. We shipped one horizon, and made 3 new ones. Just last listening hour before packing them. Considering an EXTREMELY difficult environment I am happy if we can keep this pace.
Lucky Hankyu Kim got three pcs for himself :D ...what is that tube in the middle one (6sn7)?

woo audio must of built some extra stock , I don't see the 2 week wait

have great toys that you deserve. i wish I could appriciate stuff like you do , I just can’t do it.
But I do understand the time to acquire stuff like you.

Any noticeable diff vs two stacked adapters in terms of SQ?

Well it's just one got those days :mad:.....yes the Woo is expensive and handsomely made and guess what, mine sounds different than the double adapters I got from Lukasz ....wanna know why.....one of them is DOA. I put both tubes in and powered everything up and there was no glow from the 5687 closest to me. I thought I blew the tube which really would have pissed me off but when I switched back to Lukasz double adapter the tube glows and everything functions great. Just to be sure I switched the Woo socket that didn't work to the other socket and other tube. .....DOA

I spoke to Woo and have a RA to send back. What an annoyance. Waited two weeks for the build and another 3-4 days to ship. When I talked to him and asked if it would take another two weeks to wait, he said, "it might, depending on how busy they are.

His response to this sounds disappointing. You'd sure think you'd be a top priority after this.

Top priority over a tube adapter? I'm confused, they said send it back and it will be fixed . What are they suppose to do ? If your DAC breaks you have to also send it back to get fixed and that will take a couple weeks atleast . I'm sure they are busy just like Lampizator is trying to get orders out .
