Yes, he confirmed to me that it works.... remember they are mainly used as anode load tubes (though there is a bit more complexity than just that)

The count down has begun. Lukasz arrrives in 2 days which will give him a few days to get over jet lag and to have a listen to my system and make suggestions. .....and yes at the end of Saturday as well as Sunday's demo we will be listening Horizon direct to amp

Fred arrives Friday evening. Im told that my Pacific has already found a new home and will be making its way to a new owner on Monday when they leave for Florida

Yesterday was a huge turn for the better as the Day has opened up and the Center Stage feet at day 5 were almost settled. I anticipate all will be quite enjoyable once he arrives. I have stayed with the tube set that Lukasz prefers and even though I have many other tubes that I acquired and/or were sent with my Horizon I haven't had the desire yet to begin any tube rolling. I am going to save that thunder for Lukasz' demonstrations

My wife has spent the past several days locking down her menu for both days. It will be our desire that alll food and drink will be served in single containers so that there is no concern about multiple hands on large bowls of food etc. Beer, wine and soft drinks will be served along with the food and it is a big house so that if anyone feels uncomfortable, there are large screen wall mounted 4K TV's through the house where small groups can safely sit and chat

We are striving to make the event as safe as possible for everyone attending. Masks will be provided at the door along with a place to wash your hands before entering the house. I'm not terribly worried however it just makes good sense that with the number of people present we do our best to adhere to safety standards

I’ve never done a You Tube video on anything audio but I was curious as to how this song sounds as compared to same song on Wadax which was posted today on WBF. Not sure if I have even copied the same version nor do I even put any faith in evaluation by an iPhone video but here is what I streamed from Qobuz. As someone posted a few days ago, it all comes down to a "pick your flavor".
The Horizon is just about fully settled as I have been running it 24 x 7 for 5 days . The Center Stage Feet are not quite settled . I expect another 2 days and everything should be settled in the system. I’m not even certain if this will be the final tube set selection as there are so many possibilities

Just had a chance to read the manual. Not only very informative but entertaining as well! Most enjoyable manual I have ever read by far.

Very helpful especially to read the tube rolling tips as I try to learn about the interplay of the various types of tubes.
I am particularly excited to see the sub xlr outs which my Pacific currently does not have. (I am doing a comparison today with the Pacific direct to my amps vs with my preamp, but I cannot hook my sub for the full experience comparison)

Also, am intrigued to try this tip from the manual too. Something I have not tried in my room....
“Feet are the second ears of our body. They receive a lot of vibration stimulation and the brain combines this with the hearing. So we advise to have a piece of floor without any carpet directly where our feet are. Listening with feet (preferably bare) on the hard floor greatly enhances our perception of music. It is advisable to have rug or carper between listener and speakers but not under the feet.”

I imagine a shoeless crowd this weekend at Steve's place.
