On Monday my Entreq Apollo speaker jumper cables arrived back after going back to Entreq to be upgraded to Infinity specs. In the meantime I had been coping with a pair of Discover.
What a joy to get them back upgraded. The Discover are excellent at their price point, but can't compete with the Apollos.
As i hope the attached photo shows the Apollo Infinity is a substantial cable with a mixture of copper and silver wire. They feed the tweeter and mid of my YG Kipod Signature passive speakers. They are still burning in having had a day and a half play time, but there is such a natural purity to their sound with not a trace of harshness and together with the system's Entreq grounding a complete absence of any background noise.
The standard Apollos are very good in themselves but the Infinity is a clearly audible improvement. More musical info and they play louder. Work really well with my Vitus 030 and the Apollo Infinity i/cs. IMG_0519.JPG

Congrats, Barry2013! Big news! Does that now mean the full system loom is upgraded?

Many thanks Lloyd.
All the important bits done apart from the main speaker cables which I will upgrade to Infinity specs before very long.
Certainly on the evidence of the jumper cables that should be very cost effective

Although almost all of my Entreq products have found a new home, I still have two Eartha Olympus Infinity cables with RCA termination and one XLR Female termination available.

Has anyone tried if it’s even possible to have your amp speaker post grounded to a posieden as will has an rca ground also so that your running line source and speaker negative at the same time?

Would like to get some feedback before blowing anything up

PO of Entreq just replied yes you can do both as long has each has its own separate post.
That's good.
I have been doing what you asked about for about three years. Earth cables to amp negative speaker outputs to Poseidon left and right and Poseidon centre to amp input.
If you are using spades to amp speaker outputs fit the speaker cable spades first and then put the earth spades on top of them.
Works very well in my system.

I have had the amps negatives grounded for around 4 years and today it just occurred to me to do input as will but wanted confirmation first and PO did that within hours after emailing him.

Yes I have the speaker spades first.

I've got 2 pre-owned Poseidon's and a Tellus 2 coming in part exchange in 3 or 4 weeks time, customer replacing them with a new Olympus TenTen, which is 10 x Olympus Ten Tungstens and a Cleanus in one chassis.

All 3 boxes are in superb condition and come with original boxes/crates, will be photographed and advertised for sale once I have them. Please PM if of interest. Thanks :)

It´s soon 8 years ago Spirit start this thread and it have been quite long now.

I have not done many comments here during the years. Much depending on that I don´t feel comfortable with write Swenglish when most of you handle English perfect. I can do mistakes that end up with bad consequences. As when I say we use a kind of sand instead of say mineralmix and then it later on become Cat litter and so on. And in fact, some seems belive it isCat litter in the boxes.

Anyhow, now when we have launched our new Tungsten line and a new way of build the boxes with cells that are independent from each other in one big box, I think there will be many who have questions and perhaps want info we have missed on our website. I will try keep an eye on this thread every day and will do my best to answer if you have any questions. And I hope you will give our new boxes a try, because there have happened a lot with our groundboxes and EA cables after this thread started.

Best

Hallo Per, Spirit here...very happy to have got your momentum rolling on WBF. Entreq was my first venture into system optimisation/ancilliaries, and despite a couple of dead ends, has been a part of me getting to a highly creditable and enjoyable end point sound.
I know I speak for many other customers.

Hi Per. It's a long time since I spoke to Fraser, say hallo to him. Entreq was a big part of me sorting the environment for my core system to start to shine.
Covid certainly has been a game changer.

I would like to enter the world of Entreq grounding. If I am just starting out, and with a limited budget ($4-5k), would would be the best product to get ? Been looking at the Entreq product line, there is so many things, just sure what is going to make the biggest impact. Right now I have power regenerator which my integrated amp is plugged into. TIA @Barry2013

Tim, Barry2013 is your man. My Entreq adventure ended some time back before the Infinity and newest ranges came out.
I run a Silver Tellus and Apollo cables, and find the setup worthwhile l/t despite a period where I doubted it. Barry should tell you which of the 2021/22 devices you should consider.
