Recently I loaded up the SUV and went on a road trip to deliver a pair of these in a Copper finish. It was definitely a world class setup and I thought members here might like to see the room.

The room was built solely for two channel audio. Each wall is loaded with mechanical grounding via Star Sound Technologies and the corners are designed to eliminate standing waves with further technology implemented there. On the electrical side, there are dedicated circuits in a dedicated box also utilizing mechanical grounding technology. The beauty of the system speaks for itself.

This is the first pair of the Siena 2 to land in the US as they just released in Q3 2020.

Very nice! Beautiful room. What is the rest of the system? And what did this owner have before as his speakers?

A purposefully designed room is quite a treat. I spotted a ASR Emitter II and a Bricasti DAC in there as well. Top notch stuff. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the follow up. You are correct. I don’t think I ever asked about the analog as that doesn’t fall in my realm - I’m a committed digital guy.

There are several custom pieces in the system including cabling.

The tube lair in beautiful Rock Hill, SC
Have the lower frequencies been improved and are they cohesive with the upper part of the speaker?

It never was an issue. The issue you heard was a result of me being naive enough to think I could make those work in either space the Embassy Suites had. The conference room was horrendous and has perrennially bad sound and throwing them in a concrete tomb was an improvement but far from anything they were capable of.

I am confident I could get good sound at axpona or capital but will never try again at an embassy suites.

PS - there were reasons the Siena made it to the show but those reasons did not pan out. I was worried before the show but took a leap of faith. It was a misstep and the worst show I’ve ever done. Throw in my wife spending that weekend in the hospital and me missing a lot of the show and the results were one I try to forget.

I do not recall. It was quite an eclectic mix of gear that I was largely unfamiliar with and while this usually entrances me, I was in the 'unbox and setup' mode my entire visit.

On a positive note, my own demo pair are en route right now. I'm truly excited about this one... Brown Tejus Leather
