Crazy!
Beverly, PG and the claw up front. Talk about a defensive nightmare for any opposing team. Who will they have in the middle? Imagine if they get Myles Turner? LOL
This whole thing has shown me that no top shelf players are lining up to sign on with the King and his court. Everyone is forming their own alliances so they can beat him at his own game.
The Kings days are numbered. There is a new King now in LA and he’s playing for the Clipps.
Jeannie’s plan backfired. She traded everyone to get AD and then traded everyone left to make more cap space. So now she has a bunch of journeymen and over the hill gang as the rest of the team.
Vogel’s days are numbered and he hasn’t coached a game yet
Until 5 minutes ago I thought the Lakers had returned to historical form and signed all the best free agents.
They will still be a formidable team with LeBron and AD but the Clippers will be right there with them.
Will be a fun season next year.
Vegas odds now has Clippers 1, Lakers 2, and Bucks 3.
That a difference a day makes.

To take this a bit further
So the Nets have a dynamic duo but have to be excluded this year because of KD. IMO the Nets have taken the biggest risk in their future
The Lakers have a dynamic duo but no one other than or two players who can back up and play with their big three and the Lakers must win now or next year as they are "royally" screwed if they don't. They will be bottom feeders once again for another 10 years rebuilding
The Clipps heave a dynamic duo and do have decent back up players and a bench as they showed they could play with the Warriors in the playoffs so they have the best chance of the 3 teams
However wouldn't it be ironic if at the end of the season these three super teams can't make it work and get beaten out by the likes of the Pels in the west and the (don't laugh) Raptors in the East
Beverly must be happy he re-signed with the Clipps before the news of Leonard's signing
The Lakers have mortgaged their future for this year and next. Time to become a Clippers fan![]()
I place little in Vegas odds especially when a game has yet to be played
Vegas odds several years ago made the Lakers favorites to win with Dwight Howard and Steve Nash.
And lastly one must never rule out the possibility of serious injuries which are always a part of the game
I believe Kawhi knew the Raptors got lucky with a much depleted Warriors team and returning to Toronto with the same team would give no guaranty of a repeat
However wouldn't it be ironic if at the end of the season these three super teams can't make it work and get beaten out by the likes of the Pels in the west and the (don't laugh) Raptors in the East
I’d be thrilled if this was the case though I think it’s hard to bet against the Clips the way things look now. I think I’m rooting for the Bucks.
Does anyone think the league will have to do something at some point to help smaller market teams? Seems they’re in danger of being farm systems for the coasts when their players develop and emerge.
I agree but I doubt Silver has this in his mind.
