I just saw a clip on ESPN The Jump, with the figures showing Toronto would provide the largest amount of money on a 5 yr deal to KL. Clippers next and LAL 3rd (July 6 deadline). After the Jul6 6 deadline, LAL can still give the max BUT at $11m less over the same 4 years. So knowing that, why would Kawhi STALL past July 6 if he has LAL in his mind right now? OR would he want to announce it at 11:59pm of July 6, before the clock strikes 12 midnight? Holy Dramatics!

One thing I'm thinking, wouldn't Kawhi and Uncle Dennis be worried about the long term ramification of a scenario where Vogel is eased out by James and he will be stuck with Jason Kidd for the next 5 years? And if Kidd gets the ax too, it will be Hollins, and then a yet to be hired Hornacek?

That will be some title team with multiple coaching CHANGE.

In short, he will be living WITH LeBron's systems and antics for as along as LeBron is in LAL, and who knows, if they really win a title, Jeannie might just EXTEND LeBron for another few more years towards age 40. Since Kendrick Perkins said LeBron will play his usual self until the age 40.

Kawhi and PG are going to be an outstanding duo. George just spent two years learning to play off the ball with Russell Westbrook. It is going to be incredibly difficult for any team to have the perimeter wherewithal to slow down Kawhi and PG. And on the other end of the floor, it may even be worse. The combination of Leonard, George and Patrick Beverley is going to be devastating defensively. And even by trading for Geroge, the Clippers have still retained so much of the core of their roster, including Beverley, Montrezl Harrell, Lou Williams and Landry Shamet.
