Thanks, Ron. Not a lot to say outside of what's on my website, but in a nutshell, I got into the business about 9 years ago, having been hooked on music and audio since my late teens (I'm 57). Started the Chicago Audio Society back in '94 and stepped down from leading that a little while after launching Essential Audio. My reference tends to be analog (vinyl) which I tweak, but I also enjoy CDs. I have been slow to adopt computer audio as another format but am going headlong into it now that I've found a system that meets my standards.

Hi Brian,

Nice to see you here ;)

Welcome to the forum. I grew up in the northern suburbs and miss the Midwest/Chicago, have been in NYC and now NJ a long time. Looks like you carry some great stuff.
