New Album & The Beginning of Basketball Season

Kd just slammed Chris Paul to the floor.

Sloppy play caused a steal and a slam by Tucker. HE is one gutsy player.

Wow. Chance for warriors to tie.

Rockets win. They have the swagger.

Warriors just had too many blown chances esp when Steph misses two tres to tie the game at the buzzer

Austin Rivers' career has steadily come alive. Maybe due to the half beard?

His papa was courtside watching him play

I didn't get to watch to much of the game as I took my daughter out to dinner tonight. Conveniently the game was on there so I kept tabs. I did have a brief conversation with a couple guys there, me being a Lakers fan and not a Lebron fan and him being a Lebron fan and not a Lakers fan. Very reasonable young dude acknowledged my points of view and agreed with my angle.
GSW's championship vision is in jeopardy, does not seem like they truly want it. If they win the next game and go on to win the series it will go 7 as I don't that they can close the deal in Houston.

Watching the Denver Portland series made me look up Jamaal Murray. I have never seen him play till about these past 2 months, and I found out that he was a 7th pick in the 2016 draft. I had to look higher and got a stun gun effect as I saw that Boston had the 3rd pick and they picked Jaylen Brown. That's the lighter taser as nothing could beat that oversight Danny had with the 13th pick which he used for Kelly Olynyk when Giannis was available, and the Bucks nabbed him at the 15th spot. Tough to be a GM when your name is not Jerry West. :D

Since my Celtics are soon going fishing, I have lots of spare time myself to look up some trivia. Here are the 14 players chosen AHEAD of Giannis.

1.Anthony Bennett

2. Victor Oladipo

3. Otto Porter

4. Cody Zeller

5. Alex Len

6. Nerlens Noel

7. Ben McLemore

8. Kentavious Pope

9.Trey Burke

10. CJ McCollum

11. Michael Carter Williams

12. Steven Adams

13. Kelly Olynyk

14. Shabazz Muhammad

Giannis at 15th was the first non-American college pick.

Who was the GM of the Bucks then? :D

As I read an ESPN report, Kyrie has his 3rd terrible shooting game....That is why a team needs an MVP caliber player - KD, Giannis, Harden...Is Ainge calling the Pelicans yet? :D
Kyrie mostly delivers ;) (I still shudder when I think back to the 3:0 lead the Warriors had and then lost to the Cavs, and that after an almost perfect season )
Lowry is the one that practically always literally crumbles when it comes to the Playoffs

We greenies are waiting for that moment. That moment in which Kyrie will erupt and score 40 points or more. Giannis has done his job. Boston has only Kyrie who is capable of erupting. I have never seen Tatum, Brown, Morris of Horford doing 35-40 points. That is what the tandem of Lillard and TJ McCollum brings. TJ can score 40, and each time you have 2 guys doing 70 or 80 points, that is when you can compete against those teams who have such tandems or even troikas. Kyrie is all alone and the pressure is big on him. Brad's system distributes the scoring to like 3 players with 15-18 points, but sometimes you need a very hot hand in the crucial stages to score the clutch points. Cleveland had lots of scorers in that game 7 win in Oracle, Kyrie hit the biggest shot. What Boston need is a 2 in the 1-2 punch tandem, and he has not shown up so far.

Houston back to Oakland was a long and somber one as the series is not only even but the Rockets IMO now seem to have the series edge as they outplayed and outclassed the Warriors.

Steph was throwing up bricks and Klay and Draymond and Iggie were just so so As I said before one man can't win it all but the Rockets are playing as a strong team whereas the Warriors are playing on the back of KD

If the Rockets do win this series with the Warriors (and it is a long way from being over) it seems that perhaps State Farm was prescient in predicting a Rockets - Milwaukee Bucks NBA Finals.....and they picked the Bucks to beat up on CP3 and send Chris back to his bowling hobby.

Interesting yesterday when Sir Charles came out and said the Bucks were going to win the NBA.

Well they might if Giannis stays healthy because without him they have nothing.

Whoever is in the East West finals will deserve to be there as the talent in every team is so much better this year

Warriors are playing without any sense of urgency if they don’t smarten up

Rockets' physicality puts vaunted Warriors on the defensive
Houston has battled back from a 2-0 deficit, tying the series by taking it to Golden State

A great summary of where this series stands

If the Warriors aren't outwardly concerned I am betting they feel the breath of the Rockets on their backs

This is now best 2 out of 3

I guess the Raptors are just slow starters as tonight they were in full throttle.Embiid has been rendered ineffective and has had several turn overs
Toronto Eastern conference final I think it will go 6-7 games with Toronto possibly being able to beat the Bucks

Agree, Steve. Watching this game makes me wonder why Toronto would lose to the Sixers. They are as solid a first 5 that you could get for a team, and Ibaka is coming off the bench, what a luxury. Kawhi was also an MVP material in that he can take over anytime he wants, and he is a money man down the line as well. And the fans of Toronto, I have seen that outdoor scene for many years now, braving the cold outside despite being eliminated the past few years. Great fans. And I thought hockey was big there. :D

Hockey is big there. They had a 13 year sell out record which was broken about 4 years ago.
