Did you raise a chuckle at the Esoteric CD/SACD ($23k) with 8 S-D DACs in octal diffential configuraton? I did If anyone's got a technical justification for such a configuration of DAC chips, I'm all ears!

i have heard the X-01SE and did not think to keep exploring Esoteric. I am always curious but not that curious. I am told by people i trust the P-01/D-01 is a whole other level and far better. Still, happy with where i am.
