That would have been nice! Even the so-called high-end group at the time - rec.audio.high-end - didn't really care for the LP. The CD had better (naive) specs, it had no surface noise, therefore it was the best. Interestingly enough, I recently saw one of the most vocal zealots on a HT forum discussing the superiority of entry-level HT receivers. Some thing really don't change. lol
