while at the theater yesterday seeing Taken 2 the following trailer was shown with a Feb 14 release date

Looks interesting and I must admit that the Die Hard Series reminds me of the same in the Taken series

Love the Die Hard movies, but I hope Fox doesn't fsck up this one like they did Live Free or Die Hard by going for a PG13 rating. I mean, messing with the man's signature catch phrase is just rude!

I feel the same way. I've watched all of the Die Hard movies at least as much if not more than any other movies. After a day of litigation, mindless, violent, comedic escape along with some anejo sometimes is just what the doctor ordered.

my feelings too. and another series that makes me feel that way is the indiana jones series. and i wished bruce lee lived longer to make more of his 'dragon' series as jet li did his 'once upon a time in china' series.

Watched it today. Still very 'die hardy' I should say. Kinda short. But lots of explosion and firepower to rock the movie house. Glad it was on THX. Old legends now run sequels with their sons, like Indiana Jones. Hope Stallone doesn't follow suit.

and i felt that's where the makers of the film wanted to highlight. i also felt that the car chase/truck chase was a bit too long and unnecessary. and the movie was only 90 minutes including that.
