Hi Northstar, I am not famous, I am just a music aficionado. But thanks for your exchange and interest.

Hi DEV, merci! I am using controllers, flywheels and tables separated for both Micros. On the image of the "brass Micro", which is a client demanded special SX 8000 II version, you may see a Micro platform on which controller and table are being placed. You can move controller and table closer or vice versa to each other when you trigger a knob at the Micro platform, in this way moving each of the two bases which are made of glass. If you are looking for an additional MS controller you may look at Topclassaudio in HKK.
I was actually looking for the same VPI SDS controller you have. Do you happen to have a link because when I went onto their site the unit is different, what is the specific model number. Thanks
does this controller unit not come with the motor unit that is shown with both MS tables, the one I have provided appears to be allot smaller version than the ones shown or what am I actually looking at?
got it thanks, why can't I seem to find the drive/flywheeel unit as above that is with the MS but instead only the smaller one that I provided the pic of.
Myles would you or anyone else happen to have a link to this actual unit, I would like to purchase along with the SDS unit.
Thanks in advance
I can't either. Seems they redid the website and omitted it. Sites becoming way too complicated to find anything
I'm sure a call or email to HW will eliminate any confusion. I think the top motor waas made for the TNT and the one airbearing is using is the one developed for the HRX and the Scoutmaster series..

Although that's the rim drive. I'll bet the belt one is around. isn't this one it?

---Vous parlez Francais Monsieur airbearing?
Hi DEV, I have been on the road. Yes this is the combo Whart showed you. I am using two SDS with the two VPI-HRX-T for my Micros. From my experience Harry Weissfeld did bring a controller unit on the market which is absolutely precise and stable and the technology it is offering for the money is very good. The big advantage you have when using the combination is also you are not dependant on voltage, you may run it with e.g. 240V. Elusive disc is delivering very fast. Good company!
Hi airbearing thanks for confirming such.
I do have a question for you, what is going to be the avantage using this over using my current MS controller unit because checking it's speed accuracy when using the Sutherland TimeLine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RF2XieUlzvk it's spot on no matter what, playing music, speed at both 33 or 45 to the point it's so accurate that the lazer point could burn a hole into the wall and does not wonder.
Which is also available at elusivedisc http://www.elusivedisc.com/SUTHERLAND-TIMELINE-STROBE-RECORD-WEIGHT/productinfo/SUTTIMELIN/
Just curious![]()
