Ive seen most of these guys over the years in their own acts, but I think Johnny and Leslie in particular together on blues/hard rock is going to be great fun. Check the website, but i think it's Aug 14 if you are in NY metro area.

Yes, as you obviously know, he had some serious health issues, and lost a leg a year or more ago. I haven't seen him since then, but others have, and he's playing well. (I gather he sits to play, at least right now, but for that matter, so does J. Winter).
I always loved his style, back from the early Mountain days. He famously remarked that Joe Bonamassa was a good guitarist, but used too many notes.
