Is Wilson losing their marketing edge?

Who are you, and what have you done with Caesar?

The essay reflects a great deal of wisdom and largely is very accurate with a lot of insightful analysis drawn from different disciplines.

I agree with Elberoth that it reads AI massaged, at the least.

Caesar was never a real person this is just evolution of the program
AI deeply in love with the hobby enrolled to WBF and posting...woow - that is called progress :D

I knew the wilson fanboys feelings would be hurt.

For what it's worth, AI doesn't reason across behavioral economics, psycology, and philosophy like humans do.

Also, want to do add that I posted this before, specifically in response to a discussion on behavioral economics with member the Tao of Sound, and many others. Search is your friend, if you are curious. Plus, repetition will reinforce the subject :):):)

I found it amusing these posts repeatedly suggest that Wilson doesn't really understand what's happening but the psychologist does.
I knew I would get responses like this from wilson fans. If you seek a serious understanding, slowly re-read what I wrote in terms of what wilson did and what they have no idea about, per Bill Pewkes , Megaphacts, post above.

I am just a passionate fan, Ron, who loves the hobby and applies reason to solve problem. Staying anonymous as I have been threatened with force by wilson and most recently taiko fans when encouraging them to find their own path. No one before has really put together this type of thorough analysis on audio It's all me - please search my previous posts. And search the internet!

Yes, that was easy to follow and seems a quite reasonable analysis.

Good point.

The question remains if you polished the text through AI.

This being an audio forum, and thinking out of the box, I expect personal attacks. Interesting how the sad wilson and magico fanboys are mum about the substance, as always

Don't you know, Caesar, that this forum is only about horns and SETs?? It is our herd that has assumed control...;) Just ask Andro and he will be happy to tell you this...

Nevermind the fact that we don't agree on the speaker or the type of SET which is "best".

The fact is that the name of the brand could be replaced, a few changes made and the glorious text would hold almost unchanged.

The psychologist shows a deep ignorance about sound reproduction and the particular Wilson marketing strategy, it looks like his sources are just the internet, no inside knowledge about Wilson Audio or products. He focus on the usual stereotypes to denigrate the high-end, his usual strategy.

Most of the text has an AI contribution. debating it is a lost battle, the bot will be much more efficient and quick than humans generating replies. Unfortunately it seems one the forum owners seems to allow and enjoy this new style of posting with AI help - probably soon we will welcome bots as new members - may be as experts!

I didn’t wade through the entire exposition, but I was curious about one of the the supposed pillars of Wilson domination: reviewer use.

Have you done an actual survey on the actual numbers of reviewers—that presently — not that have used Wilson at one time or another—use Wilson as their reference speaker? Maybe it’s not as high a # as your thesis suggests?

So, you have been “threatened with force” by Wilson and Taiko fans?

This sounds very serious. Have you filed complaints with the authorities?

I had no idea of the sordid and scary Audiophiledom underworld.

I and Al M already complimented the substance of your post. But your sensitivity about "Wilson fan boys" is undermining your own thread. There has not been one word of reply criticizing your use of Wilson as an example. That is in your head and kind of delusional.

Questioning your use of AI is not a personal attack.

Characteristically your opening posts here tend to be simple questions that are controversial and kind of troll-y. That's why this substantive, interesting, insightful, interdisciplinary, complex and lengthy post from you is raising eyebrows.
