THE CLARISYS ARIA INSTALLED

Grandiose claim, surely?

Tell us why the bass ribbon is the most advanced e.g. why is is better than an Alsyvox design?
Feel free to schedule a private call and I will explain it to you on technical terms. This thread is from Gary who enjoys his new speakers. All the best

No it's alright I had a chat with Florian at Munich about various design features. I'll just say I am not sure I agree, TBH and leave it at that.

That is a nice set up Gary. Enjoy.

I dont remember that at all, but sorry to see you miss the opportunity. All the best.

Wonderful speakers and room! Wishing you many happy hours of listening.

Didn't realise it was you, Florian.

Yeah you do, I am the chap with the silver Apogees done by Jon.

Why not use my prompt to expound on the virtues here? There is quite a bit of good stuff you can talk about.

Now I remember, you redid all the work that Jon originally did i think. I wont blow up Gary's thread. Instead we will publish the differences and technical, physical reasons on our website. Cheers

No I just did some work on the crossovers and specified how I wanted the speakers built.

I’d like to avoid turning this customer’s thread into a brand comparison — it should stay focused on his own experience with his new system.

For those genuinely interested in the technical aspects: I have already offered to continue the discussion directly, either by phone or through a video call. I am more than happy to explain in detail the physical and engineering differences in panel construction, and why these design choices matter for performance.

We will also be publishing a series of explanations on our website, so that the broader community can understand why the construction methodology makes such a fundamental difference. This way, the information will be transparent and available to everyone.

Since Clarisys Audio is not a sponsor here, we cannot open a dedicated thread of our own to share this material. For that reason, I won’t elaborate further within this discussion.

Thanks for your understanding.

I may add, people can argue all day about different design features, construction, & materials till the cows come home!
This is the same for amps, pre, ect, ect. The real proof is in what you are hearing. May I suggest you hold your positive or negative opinions till you hear the speakers in a proper setting & form your true honest assessment. Feel free to come have a listen, I don't sugarcoat anything.
I do like what I'm hearing & yes, they sound as good as they Look!

RAD,
Did you happen to see or hear these beauties from Peter/Symposium?
Just phenomenal!
They appear to be very similar in design.

Rad, could you tell us a little bit about the amp stands supporting the mighty CATs?
The amp stands are from Trevor Doyle, Massif Audio Design. Footers are from Carbide Audio. Trevor post on this site as well.

By far the best that I have heard. He showed the same system at the Denver RMAF (if I remember correctly) only he used cone drivers for the sub panel at the time.
That demo was spectacular and we started discussing a purchase when he (Peter) mentioned that he had an all ribbon sub panel.
FF a few months and I was able to hear the same system but with the all ribbons and it was like nothing I’ve ever heard anywhere. Almost too hard for my brain to process.
Timing wasn’t in my favor so it never came to fruition.
I did eventually get a pair of rebuilt Duetta Sig. hoping to at least get some of that same magic, but didn’t come close.
Once again, enjoy. Quite magnificent I’m sure.

I would Highly recommend an Aria demo; I think you would be surprised. I'm in Ohio if that matters.
