Entreq Tellus grounding

I'm using Max T on my Entreq Pluton box. Max T can sound a bit "etched" or harsh in the beginning. My dealer warned me it can be a bit "too much". But I let it be and it settled after a couple of weeks. Now I have the clarity and 3D without harshness that I wanted. Give it some time.

100% agree...i found exactly the same.

From what I can see, the current Max T is only available in the MixMax T2 kit comprised of two Max Ts and two Max T2s for $1600 USD?
Max T is available individually in Canada and the MixMax T2 Kit is well worth the money.

It’s truly a joy to see that this old thread is still alive. It wasn’t that long ago someone posted here, and I just read through it again—from the very first page to the last. And I’m so grateful for all the kind and positive feedback on our grounding boxes. Thank you!

Interestingly, many of the harshest critics seem to have never actually tried them. And I doubt they ever will—they’ve already decided it’s all just snake oil. But over the years, it's been amazing to see how perceptions around grounding have changed.

When this thread started in 2013, we were almost alone in offering dedicated grounding solutions. Today, nearly every well-known brand has their own kind of grounding solutions.

And now, after all we’ve learned over the years—about grounding, high-frequency noise, magnetism, and radiation—I believe we may have done it again. (Thats why I read the whole thread)

We’re in the final stages of developing a completely new product. As always, it’s based on physics, not magic. It addresses a problem in the signal path that, to our knowledge, has never been tackled in this way in audio before. And the improvements in sound are not only real, but accessible at a reasonable cost.

If all goes well, we’ll be ready to release it in June.

I’m looking forward to the launch with a mix of excitement and nervous anticipation. I really hope this new product will bring as much joy to music lovers as our grounding boxes have. But of course—I’m also prepared for the usual storm of opinions, especially from those who haven’t tried it.

Many thanks for the enjoyment that your products bring. Looking forward to hearing of your new release. Keep up the good work!

Look forward to learning more about it! I have already texted Fraser!

Pulled out the Level 2 Protectus from under my pre amp ... everything got a lot more earth bound , the sound stage lost that detached sense of life and freedom from the speakers . Uncanny what it does , very similar to the effect the MixMax T2 has on speaker terminals . I have been a long time happy Entreq user , and in my opinion they have moved the bar significantly with their new range of products . Definitely worth a try and see ..

Got two custom made Protectus Level 3 panels for the subs , like on steroids , sounding detaches to an even greater degree ... those with subs , worth a thought.

Are they anything more than wood slabs? How do they work, what do they do?

This is the company blurb :-
"Protectus is comprised of layers of cross-laminated timber with cavities made in a strategic pattern that we fill with mixed metal spheres of various materials and sizes. These metal spheres effectively convert vibration energies into heat. Since all metals are connected, galvanic currents are generated, forming a magnetic field that affects the electromagnetic fields within the devices."

It's got a binding post ( Silver for Level 3) that attaches to the component. I have heard its effect even while not attached. I would think the magnetic fields are affecting the magnets in the sub , better stop start delivery , a fuller much more powerful delivery . Quite startling!

I admit I have not tried this stuff, but what is the physic behind say the grounding boxes?
Are there any before and after plots to show the effect of what is happening?

I do find this interesting.
- Audiocrack is putting massive solid copper slabs underneath all of his equipment, each of which is tied to his Tripoint grounding
- Jazzhead is going same with his Entreq slabs
- Then there are the Entreq Receivus which (I am completely guessing) are similar in a smaller fashion which people (including me) have used for many many years.

Electrical field drawn from the metal wires inside the Receivus? EMI related? No idea. It works.

Entreq also has grounding posts for its entire shelving system...and that has long had positive comments.

Just figured it out...Cessaro subs. Look nice! Would love to hear how you decided on these!
They fitted the brief .. sealed box .... and fast as they were designed to be mates with horns.. ... knowing you have subs , must consider setting up an audition for the Protectus under them. Be well worth your while , methinks.... good luck

Thank you! Will inquire!

Thank you! Will inquire!
If you get down to it, give it time for the mag fields to settle. Day, day n a half in my experience The sound will go thru cyclic changes before that, as you may have experienced with their ground boxes
