Who were the women People's interests and perceptions of attractiveness can be quite diverse and complex. Without more context about the survey methodology, sample demographics, and how the questions were framed, it would be unwise for me to speculate too much about why certain hobbies ranked highly. the survey.
Honestly, some of the results are bizarre, and sounds unrealistic; Blacksmithing, Archery, to name few.

Bonzo, if anything is common in the attraction table above, all of the top hobbies involve creational activities and not passive activity.

I tend to be fickle about hobbies, but I have enjoyed pursuing 10 of the ones mentioned, including archery and blacksmithing.
For me, it’s writing, photography, cooking, hiking, traveling, and learning languages (though only if English counts).
Unfortunately, I can’t see other activities I enjoy on the table.
This list is fake or incorrect or both. It reminds me of those bogus international surveys nominating countries like Finland as the best place to live in the world, when climate and temperature are not included as part of the rating criteria.
No way do women find axe-throwing more attractive than knowing that the guy rides motorcycles. And motorcycle riding by the guy is not even on the list.

I did not find the absence of motorcycling surprising. Up until my shoulders failed, I’d been a “road motorcyclist” for over 50 years. I‘ve owned 35 of them over the years (including flagship BMW, Honda, Yamaha, and Kawasaki touring and sport touring models), and I still have a Triumph and a Guzzi for puttering.
Unless a woman likes being limited to pillion space and a saddle bag, and is happy to get soaked or chilled randomly, she’s not going to look at motorcycling as a great hobby. My wife and I agree that she can garden and I can motorcycle.
The vinyl hobby is another nonstarter. Most women I know like music and love concerts, but vinyl interrupts the mood created by the music. If “the look of love” is interrupted every 15 minutes to flip a side, it becomes harder to sustain it.
I amended my post to make clear that I meant only knowing that the guy rides a motorcycle.

However, I'm sure there is nuance to this which I am not yet appreciating. In ,my experience it seems Ferret Molesting as a hobby, though non passive and enormously creative, fails to rouse the ardor of ANY of the women I've come across.
I've found that the attractiveness of my hobbies to my partner has varied according to life stage.
My girlfriend found my skiing attractive; when she became my wife, she found it expensive.
My young wife found my motorcycling appealing; when she became a mother, she found it impractical and risky.
My, uh, "mature" wife found my woodworking a useful skill; today my wife just wants my damn stuff out of the garage.

There WAS an axe throwing bar/date venue off the public square in my town. It was right next to Concert Musical Supply. Yesterday I dropped in to CMS to get some humidipacks for my guitars, so I walked by the ax venue.Axe throwing

It was closed and a notice was posted on the front door that water and sewer services had been suspended by the utility. So … maybe it’s not number 1 here in my neck of the woods.
