I just was listening to blue six--and the name of the song that I played was pure-- funny I used it here--:Although purity is not a WBF approved sound qualifier, any one having listened to an all ARC system with the Aida's will immediately understand what the poster means with it. If, as me, you valuate a lot this aspect, there is no doubt on the choice.
Thanks for your responses. Thankfully the used Aida's are in red!

As an isolated thing, I prefer the Q5. Heck, I'd even rather have the Q3. But given your situation, the Aidas make more sense.
Why would you need to replace the Ref 10? The Q5 would need more power, so you could move up the Pass ladder.

I would have gone Q5 too, with lot of power if within your budget at least 300 Watts at 8 ohms ... I don't see why you should get rid of the REF10 either ...
The best SF sound I've heard was actually at RMAF about 3-4yr. ago in a larger suite in the upper tower. Wish I knew which one it was.
Well being pedantic one could also say yellow
Red was the international racing colour side of Ferrari while yellow is the colour associated with Modena/some models.
Smiling because well yellow just not so cool as a red Ferrari, although I doubt anyone is brave enough to repaint any of the classics even if yellow bleh
Cheers

If it was 3-4 years ago it was not the TheSonusFaber, AKA Fenice, the best speaker I have ever listened to. Happily it needs a larger space than mine. They are being used with a Pass XS in a WBF member system.
I did not authorize you to upload my parking garage ,Orb,
Just in case you still have doubts ...
