Shipping large speakers

Hello all,

I recently purchased large speakers for someone in Wisconsin. I need to ship to Northern California. Six crates totaling 1200lbs. Insurance for 100K+. Does anyone have good experience with a good shipper? Is direct shipping far superior?

Sound Lab used Old Dominion to ship my big panels--about 300 lbs total. Was generally a positive experience.
