Check Dougdeacons' system over on Audiogon. He has the preamp It's a Nick Doshi I think.
 
Yup, its a Doshi. Surrpised he hasn't sold it, much coveted and uncommon on the used market.
 
They seem to carry a lot of nice gear there.

I took a page from electronluv with the mercury vapor rectifiers, and modified the power supply of my Allnic H 3000 phono preamp to use an RCA 83 mercury vapor rectifier. Sublime!

yes, the gloss black finish is the new look. I do believe you can still get it in different finishes. I will have to ask Nick about that.

I saw it today, even nicer in person than in photos.

Saw the new amps too, sounded even better than they looked and they looked sweet.
