I know there's some epically long ongoing threads here, but what are your recommendations for reading in detail?

IMHO, long threads contain many comments that are simply regurgitated in a different way but say the same damn thing. Very boring after awhile. And then the thread is resurrected later by someone else with the same result. One recent example is how do we clearly know what is exactly on the original recording. Another favorite ad naseum topic for endless subjective discussion is, of course, digital versus analogue. It's WBF's version of Groundhog Day.

You will get into a long thread only if you are interested in the detail. For example someone who is planning to buy a streamer will investigate the Taiko extreme thread in detail, else if they don’t care for streaming and digital, will possibly skip or read cursory for friend's comments or arguments for kicks

Long threads are long for a reason. Short ones are short for a reason, or three.
