Hello All,
My tape deck is set up to play back RMG SM-468 tapes. I have been given a couple of reel to reels recorded on RMG SM-911 Tape. Is there a vast difference in the quality of sound and if so what would that be? What adjustments can I make to get the RMG-911 tape to sound as near as possible to RMG-468 or can that be done? Thanks much forum members.

Jazzbo:)

Unless you are recording on it, it doesn't make a difference. Unless they give you tones, it's a crap shoot!

Good morning Mr. Bruce B. and thank you for responding. I thought what you note might be the case but wanted to let the experts here provide input first. You and yours have a great day.
