I have HIJIRI going from CD/DAC (Esoteric K-01XD) to preamp (thrax Dionysos). The best I can describe them as "open, very musical tube like and yet detailed".

I agree with you. I have just received my cable yesterday.

After used the Hijiri Nagomi, I would to say that I feel with this cable :

The Nagomi brings some warmer sound if I can say that. This cable is magic, it has some special I can't explain.
The voices are more human and CD has not a metallic sound.
I have the FURUTECH FP-S55N LIMITED EDITION with FURUTECH FI-E50 NCF (R) and FURUTECH FI-50 NCF (R).
The Furutech has dynamic, punch, accuracy and beautiful details.
The Nagomi has the best of the Furutech and brings more natural and more life.
The Nagomi combines a higher resolution and detail without sounding analytical.

I have 3 Hijiri Nagomi and 1 Hijiri Takumi, 2 FURUTECH FP-S55N LIMITED EDITION...
I have rediscover my system...

I have received my Hijiri Million Kiwami XLR. IT 's a great great cable. Do you use the isolating, independent noise grounding, please ? Thanks.

Came across the thread trying to sort out all these Hijiri names. It seems all are different series or model levels of Hijiri cables. http://combak.net/index.html. I notice that the power cords all seem to use (Wattgate) Rhodium connectors, without a choice. Rhodium has a particular sound that one likes or doesn’t.

For powercord, you have first : Nagomi, SM2R, Takumi.

You're probably right. As I put round out my awareness of Hijiri, my question that still lurks is, Do all the power cables use rhodium connectors, as the website appears to indicate, or is there option in there somewhere?

Takumi ICs doesn't exist. Takumi is just for powercord.

I think you can have special option.
The better is to contact them.
