I happened to catch this during an afternoon movie matinee yesterday

I thought is was a very good film just not a great film

Great cast including Brad Pitt and Shia Laboeuf.

The story is a typical war story where one tank is left to defend a road against a retreating army of SS soldiers.

The filming and editing and cinematography were all superb.

It really showed how these tank soldiers were literally squeezed into these large sardine cans with guns in order to fight. The crampiness must have been overwhelming if one were claustrophobic

The end is predictable but nonetheless a good war pic to see

I'll be waiting for it to arrive on pay for view. The only movies I see in theaters are when they are shown at IMAX theaters.
