Lol ...

That should help to promote Classical music...with nice covers. :b
_________

And this...

Yes, women shopping for Classical music in shopping centers or dedicated music stores from the 40s/50s.
I'm sure those retro music stores could impact the Internet music downloads, and women are the key to Classical music pushing sales.

We need to reeducate the population that Classical music is good for marriages between men and women, and it has a better foundation to make the alliences last longer.
And it's good for the soul too, and anything good for the soul is good for humanity in a world we live in in the year 2016.
Classical music, water, food, shelter and a healthy constitution; physically and spiritually.

It seems to me that the best things in life are the ones that only very few people know about and use in day-to-day life...classic ?

* Led Zeppelin is still selling albums...
{I know few women who love the Beatles and the Bee Gees.}

Especially hard to believe given that Presto Classical keeps putting its own self-funded CD editions of otherwise out-of-print albums

I would love to see sales data from other countries. Especially Japan. Somewhere these labels must be making some money.

I went to the Arvo Part/Mozart performance at Walt Disney Hall and it was absolutely packed, sold out. That's 3 performances, 2,300 people performance and the lowest price of a ticket was $140. People are willing to pay for great live performances, unfortunately they are not willing to pay for great recorded performances.
