A Charlie Brown Christmas - Vince Guaraldi Trio

The Carpenters - Christmas Portrait and - An Old Fashioned Christmas

Bing Crosby - Merry Christmas

But my all time favorite is....

Season's Greetings From Perry Como (from 1959)

Dan

Wynton Marsalis "Crescent City Christmas"

We did a mastering of Christmas music last year from Gisella titled "Ave Maria". She sings in 3 different languages and her producer hired all great professional musicians to accompany her. Pretty amazing. 50% of the proceeds go to charities.

Gisella

My favorite is Mannheim Steamroller Christmas.

I hate to be Scrooge, but I really don't like Christmas music. Maybe I hear too much of it on the radio. It seems to start earlier and earlier each year.
I did go see Trans-Siberian Orchestra a few years ago. Pretty goo live show.

I think I'm with you on that score. I don't have any nor do I have any interest in buying them. I just turn on the radio and let play whatever comes on to maintain the mood of Christmas. It's all background ambience for me.

John

Nat King Cole - The Christmas Song
George Winston - December
David Lanz & Michael Jones - Solstice

Trans-Siberian Orchestra is wonderfully fun, but not for quiet moments.

I will start out. These titles are not in any particular order.

1) Straight No Chaser "Holiday Spirits"
- This is an excellently produced CD. It is expertly sung by an all men's choir, and fun too.

2) Ceilidh "A Thistle & Shamrock Christmas"
- A refreshingly different Celtic CD.

3) The Roches "We Three Kings"
- Clearly recorded talented singers with some fascinating twists.

4) Nat King Cole "The Christmas Song"
- A lovely CD that will warm any cold heart.

5) Tony Elman "Winter Creek"
- A smartly arranged dulcimer led CD.

6) Mitzie Collins/dulcimer, Glenna Dove/flute, and Roxanne Ziegler/harp "Nowell"
- Fun honest Christmas cheer

7) Celtic Women "A Christmas Celebration"
- A big production. Yeah, it is over the top, but what a wild ride.

8) The Allan Lomax Collection "Songs of Christmas"
- This one is for the inquisitive. Lomax has traveled the world recording indigenous music for this
CD.

Not to sure about these two;
Merry Christmas Baby and Santa Hurry Down the Chimney Tonight.

Well, my favorite Christmas album is "Under the Mistletoe" by Justin Bieber. It's the first Christmas album that I bought ever~

How old are you??

For Jazz "Wynton Marsalis "Crescent City Christmas Card"

But honestly, what tops "Christmas In Hollis" by RUN-DMC?

A Charlie Brown Christmas - Vince Guaraldi Trio

...snip...Dan

I too enjoy Vince Guaraldi. I used the music last year for my Christmas lights that are sync'd to the music. People drive around our neighborhood to see the lights. Almost every does it up big here. My neighbors across the street take a week off work to setup the lights for their house. The win awards most years.

Diana Krall Christmas Album
Ella Fitzgerald Christmas Album
Wynton Marsalis Crescent City Christmas Card
Cantate Domino
Nat King Cole
