When I saw this show it put things in perspective for me

Carl Sagan was a much ridiculed man perhaps by the way he spoke and the intonation of his words. Nonetheless he was brilliant. Not quite a Stephen Hawking but his show was the first of its kind way back then. I remember Johnny Carson monologs almost nightly where there wasn't a Carl Sagan joke

Carl Sagan is my number one hero and have been since I was ten years old and watched Cosmos. That television series had an far bigger impact on my intellect than anything else I had experienced. It was truly amazing as a young boy to see that incredible production.

I remember this clip! Love Vangelis' Heaven and Hell at the end. I think I'll put the Cosmos LP on sometime this weekend.
