About a year ago I acquired a Nordost Blue Heaven power cord, plugged it into my EMM Labs XDS1-V2 which played sweeter with more resolution than with the Kimber pc I was using. So I bought a Heimdall 2, more mid-range and stronger bass. Being satisfied now there was only one thing to do - order a Valhalla 2 which should be here next week. Am I being suckered by the reviews or can the V2 actually deliver? I can hardly wait to find out.

I know of an audio friend who uses Nordost ODIN speaker cable and interconnects in his system, and tried several of the Nordost power cords up to the original Valhalla and was unimpressed compared to other good power cables he had been using. Then he tried the Valhalla 2 power cords and he cannot stop raving about how sensational they are, he is absolutely amazed by their leap in performance compared to the earlier version. So I would predict that you'll be very pleased with them, but of course YMMV. Congratulations and please let us know your thoughts once you get them.
My Frey 2 is an easily noticeable step above my Heimdall 2 cords.
Given my experience with Nordost, I expect the V2 would be exhilarating.
