Watch Tesla Unveil Its Pickup Truck In Under 6 Minutes

No reason, only a habit that follows me everywhere from a while ago. Like this one # used on Twitter.

The planet's human health ecologists environment scientists and anti-war (oil and guns and control and money and power) they all care David. :)
It's the same with audiophiles who care about their music reproduction; you don't want any pollution and distortion in your music right, same with the air you breathe and the children you made with the wife and their own children. Just ask them ...

That Cybertruck grows on me. It's tough when we're not used to such a simple design (diamond triangle), but it's perfect for solidity, off-road, camping, exploring the high mountains, breathe its fresh air, ...build a bigger infrastructure with electric stations and solar panels.
There is no doubt it's in our cards...the entire globe and all the people living on it.
Getting rid of oil is the most beneficial thing to do for humanity and her planet.
That's me, and many many more.
It's permissible to disagree and I'm fully @ peace without zero stress.

It's our first snow here today on the Island, December 1st, and the father of one of my nieces just passed away ... it is what it is ... sad.

All them folks can buy what they like Bob as long they don't tell the rest of us how to live and this crap doesn't become tax payers burden all over again!

Nobody's telling nobody else how to live their lives David; we all like what we like (dogs and giraffes) and that is that.
Tesla is like a state-of-the-art analog turntable, ICE is like a bad case of digital done wrong; there are no two ways around it. Volkswagen played the dirty game and infected their disease.
Tobacco companies are the same, vaping is the same, pharmaceutical companies, drug dealers, oil magnates, the mafia, the corrupted leaders, the liars, the fakes and the plastics, the scums of this Earth.

And the tax system benefits the rich and exhausts the poor.

I don't want to get into this here but we have 16 year old twats telling us what to do, let's leave it at that and move on.

Bob: no gibberish and NO POLITICS please!

If you were paying attention, you would have seen the climate protests last Friday all over the planet, except not as much in the US of course. Young people care about their future.

MADRID (AP) — The chair of a two-week climate summit attended by nearly 200 countries warned at its opening Monday that those refusing to adjust to the planet’s rising temperatures “will be on the wrong side of history.”

Was there ever a time in this planet's history that there was no climate change?

It's not that we don't care we simply have very different beliefs about right and wrong and the future we want for our children from your lot.

I have been thinking about how to respond to David’s last posting without going over the line. The use of the phrase your lot is very telling to me. This type of discourse gets us nowhere. I am sure David is all for people smoking anywhere they want regardless of the health effects to others around him. Drink and drive, sure, why not. same attitude. To use your language, it is because of your lot, that future generations will have it tougher.

You were right on my use of your lot but wrong on everything else about me Joe.

I think its interesting how any discussion regarding electric cars becomes political. Oil companies are also highly subsidized by the government, is there really a difference?

I don't think that's true Jeff, but if they are they shouldn't be either.

I'm not a truck guy Bob :).

I remember Steve saying that he enjoyed riding with you in your car ...
I too would love taking a ride (passenger) with you David; you as the chauffeur of your own car. :)

Three years from now I might be riding that Cybertruck...you never know ...

Anytime you're in the area Bob it's beautiful around here and roads are fast.
It's driver not chauffeur ;)!

Sorry David, but it is the same basic attitude. Humans are effecting the climate. The changes will have profound effects on millions of peopLe. I know, you don’t believe it but it was not that long ago that people thought smoking was harmless and that second hand smoke was not an issue. I believe that there were magazine ads in the ‘50’s that extolled the health benefits of smoking. Given the potential consequences, why not err on the side of caution? At worst, you will get new tech and jobs and cleaner air and water to boot. A win win in my book.

The strange polarness is kinda irritating. EV's are just the new hot luxury item so everyone pretends like they are somehow lower impact than hybrids but they just aren't.
