Impressive!

Congratulations Debby - I am sure that it will be a success. And many people will be very happy to learn that Wilson Audio managed to keep the price bellow 30K.

Was not an easy task after looking at the parts list from R&D... especially when Wilson Audio is known for "sparing no expense" in the products!

Debby, congratulations, they look and I'm sure sound superb. Now it's time to look at the Maxx3....silk dome and a more adjustable cabinet with larger bass drivers and presto-- the Maxx 4;)

There will never be a Maxx 4 released.

Bad karma in Asian countries.

+1. Expect Maxx 5, Sophia 5 etc. (unless they will go for a name change)

There has to be a typo in the literature.

Speaker Height - 53" ?? That's the same as the Alexia. Think it should be 44"

UPDATE

There was a typo on the specs page. As far as specs such as sensitivity, weight, etc. Those are all still being worked out. Also, no active prototype will be at CES. Only static display.

They are in the final listening stages up at the Wilson house. I did get to listen to the Sasha 2 vs the Sasha 1 over the weekend. While the Sasha 2 is not done yet, I will say: I am liking what I heard!

Here are the correct specs (Height is depending on spikes/diodes etc.):

I never realized there was a MAXX 2 "E"

Wonder what the difference was?

Although I can not be sure if the "E" referred to that, at some time some Wilson speaker versions that were sent to Europe had a different default bass damping resistor to compensate for the average smaller and more rigid rooms in Europe. Martin Colloms referred it in one of his critics.

You are exactly right on what the "E" version meant. :)

I took those photos (using my dad's iPhone ;) )

Hi Debby,

What is your and your dad's favourite poweramp with Sasha2 : VTL or Spectral or Dan D'Agostino?

Thanks!
