Zenph, who make digital player piano reproductions of famous piano recordings of the past, are apparently planning on releasing 25 titles in 2011! This is according to a report from Audiophile Audition.

The most exciting news is that Zenph is applying their technology to instruments other than the piano. Slated for possible release is a reperformance of duets with pianist Oscar Peterson and bassist Ray Brown!

These discs are definitely worth keeping an eye out for!

Some people are really critical of these but I have enjoyed the Art Tatum and the Glenn Gould CDs. I haven't listened to the Rachmaninoff. Do they have any others yet?

I have the orig release of Glenn Gould SACD, sonics and perf were great.
Played this quite a bit when I first got it, then it started to take on a mechanical quality that would drive me nuts.
I'll pick up a another later release and give them another spin.
