Bonnie Raitt never did much for me. But Joanne Shaw Taylor is gaining a lot of respect. And Debbie Davies is almost as good as Eric Clapton to my ears. I would actually prefer to see her in a small club than Clapton in a giant arena. Any time. The time I have seen him, Clapton may really hit it out of the park with one song. Debbie hits it out with virtually every song.

These women are great, but I still loves me some Bonnie Raitt.

See what I did there.

I made a rhyme.

Eva probably has the best voice of this lot, or just about any lot, really, unless you include Aretha in there, but I don't think Eva's a guitar heroine.

But -- hey -- we got us some talented ladies in this thread.

See -- I never miss a chance to refer to women as "ladies."

Because I know it makes me sound like a swinger.

Heart - Summer of Love tour

It was in Aug 2002 - I had just arrived in Seattle to set up the Genesis factory. I didn't have any friends, and wasn't comfortable with the staff I hired to do anything social yet - so I went alone. My first time in the Paramount Theater. Got goosebumps all night. I thought that it was a good start to the company :)
