Bonnie Raitt never did much for me. But Joanne Shaw Taylor is gaining a lot of respect. And Debbie Davies is almost as good as Eric Clapton to my ears. I would actually prefer to see her in a small club than Clapton in a giant arena. Any time. The time I have seen him, Clapton may really hit it out of the park with one song. Debbie hits it out with virtually every song.

Eva probably has the best voice of this lot, or just about any lot, really, unless you include Aretha in there, but I don't think Eva's a guitar heroine.

It was in Aug 2002 - I had just arrived in Seattle to set up the Genesis factory. I didn't have any friends, and wasn't comfortable with the staff I hired to do anything social yet - so I went alone. My first time in the Paramount Theater. Got goosebumps all night. I thought that it was a good start to the company
