I thought I read that somewhere or is the XP-30 their statement preamp for a while?

I think the xp-30 with 3 chassis would be about as far as Pass could go, at least without a complete new preamp design.

Frank750 has already indicated that the xp-30 has performed better than the ARC ref40 pre in his system with the xs amps.

yes, Pass is currently developing an XS series preamp...expected by CES 2014. It's cost will be approx. double that of the XP-30.
