I think i read a review of this one...comparing it to the also SOTA Boulder phono stage. As good as the Boulder is, apparently, writer said he preferred this even more.

FYI I think the caps are over Way over $1000 each. Parts Connexion lists them with price upon request. All the Duelands are made to order and can take several months to get. Hopefully I'll be installing mine in the near future in my tape pre.

Myles, the link you posted to the Vitus site refers to a Fremer rating. I seem to remember him loving the Ypsilon. Isn't this one like 60 grand in Ben Bernanke dollars?

The vitus sounds grand I am sure, but 60k? I will say conservatively the parts cost is not much over 10k if that, given the dealer 100% markup over the cost vitus charges them, I can see where the 60k comes from. Nice profit margins available for vitus dealers I would imagine....
