What's most interesting to me is that DJ vinyl is dead as a doornail. This means the slack has been picked up by the ordinary music listeners.

vinyl still on the rise in the Uk , i do my bit about 250lps each year Even ikea noticed
my sixteen year old niece has a rega table with a chinese tube amp , very cool with the kids

Technics stopped production recently. I expect the others (Stanton, Vestax, Numark) to follow suit. Right now sticks and/or laptops (or time coded vinyl) are king. CD is just as dead. DJ's just want to travel light I guess. Now that the industry has adopted the 24/96 capable CDJs for the most part, it's not looking good at all. Almost all my go to online dance vinyl sites have shifted to mp3 and .wav. I'm very sad.

you should save the 20% uk vat in manila UK vinyl usually sounds good , 99% of mine uk pressings
