Greetings. I am going to up in Toronto visiting my good friend Jason of Boutique Audio Gallery fame later this month: June 21st through the 23rd. He will be hosting an event highlighting SoundSpace Systems, Aries Cerat, SPEC, Ideon, Döhmann Audio, among others. Michael Plessman, the founder and designer of SoundSpace Systems' speakers, will be there along with new models and iterations.

More importantly, I will be there, and it would be great to meet up with WBF members in the Greater Toronto area.
The event location is King City, Ontario.

I am looking forward to meeting you all in person.

Please private message me for the exact location/address.

Cheers.

I live in the GTA and am very interested. Will have to see if this event works out timing wise. I have visited the website but could not find a specific address?

I don’t know who that Jason guy you speak of is, but he sounds really cool.

Sincerely,
Jason

Do you have any experience of the SPEC GMP-8000 tt?
It's one design I've always loved.

Hi @spiritofmusic

Like you, I have also previously admired the SPEC turntable. I always thought it was a beautiful looking unit, and a great turntable at an attractive price point.

Unfortunately, however, SPEC no longer makes that turntable. While there may be some websites (international dealers/distributors, etc.), if you look on the SPEC website, you will see that they do not offer the turntable anymore. SPEC are really keeping their focus primarily on their amplification, which of course are their strongest and most differentiated products.
