The second season of "Colony"

Was the only one who watched and enjoyed the premier of Colony? Either way, an new series is starting tomorrow: http://dsc.discovery.com/tv/colony/

For those unfamiliar, this is a simulation of what people would do should a major disaster hit. It is big brother meet junkyard wars . They take a group of people and put them in an abandoned industrial areas and see how they fend for themselves.

My favorite in series 1 was an gray-haired IBM engineer who built everything from tracking solar systems to creating fuel from wood vapor to run the generator!

The do subject the team to artificial exercises which are a bit contrived at times but still, it is an educational and entertaining show to watch.

BtW, there is a ton of drama deleted in the above. The actual show is as much entertaining as educational.

Watched the fist episode of the new series. So far, it is a clear notch below the first series. Let's hope it picks up later.
